Simply delicious…both dense and fluffy at the same time. You have the option of baking this in the breadmaker or pulling out the dough and baking it off in the oven. While the order of ingredients does matter if you are using a time delay feature on your beadmaker, it really doesn’t matter much when you are making the bread right away. Still, if you are making the bread by hand…or you are far more particular than I am…follow the order that the ingredients are listed.

1 C. Warm Water
1/3 C. White Sugar
1 Tablespoon Active Dry Yeast
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/8 C. Vegetable Oil
3 C. Flour
If you are baking in a breadmaker:
Add the ingredients to your breadmaker’s bucket, in the order they are listed. Set your breadmaker on White Bread. Take the loaf out of the breadmaker when it has a light brown crust. Depending on your breadmaker, this may be 5-30 minutes prior to it complete cooking cycle.
If you are baking in an oven
Add the ingredients to your breadmaker’s bucket, in the order they are listed. Set your breadmaker to dough. When completed transfer to well oiled 9×5 inch loaf pan. Allow to rise for 30 minutes, or until dough has risen 1 inch above pans. Brush top with egg wash Egg mixed w/a bit of water). Bake on 350 for 30 minutes.
