Submit A Wedding or Party
The heart of the South is hospitality, and nothing encompasses this more than entertaining. From elegant dinner parties and backyard BBQs, to country receptions and grand cathedral weddings, we enjoy showcasing them all.
When choosing weddings and events for our site, we look for gorgeous photography with beautiful lighting, and meaningful southern details. We love featuring events with a diversity of budgets, aesthetics, and traditions!
Every wedding or event must have taken place in the Southern United States, or have a Southern component or feel.
Photographers: Please email 15-25 good web-quality .jpg attachments (please do not embed in the email or send slideshows; do not send high-res files) to us at editor at southernguidetolife dot com along with the following information: couple’s name or the type of event, event date, event location, and any vendor information you have (names and websites).
Brides: Please ask your photographer to do the above.
Event organizers and vendors: Please email the same information. Please ensure that you own the photo copyright or have otherwise obtained permission to use and submit them.
Due to the volume of submissions, we unfortunately cannot respond to all inquiries. If the wedding is chosen, we will email you to request an interview and additional details.
We happily consider both professional and amateur submissions as well as styled shoots, bridal sessions, engagement sessions, and vendor produced photos.
