IMG_7066---2-low-resThe cornerstone of this magical tablescape is an ancient spellbook that would be perfectly suited to the Halliwell attic or a secret chamber hidden inside Hogwarts.

It’s really an old dictionary that has been repurposed into a brilliant centerpiece of a design meant to transport guests to a magical world.  Tiffany created the pages in Printshop and distressed them, before gluing them into the dictionary.  She used brown ink to create the aging.  The well loved appearance of the entire book was created by spraying random pages with water and turning the corners of the book.

IMG_7070---2-low-resTiffany created a Halloween wreath from tulle and ribbon found at Michaels.  The glittery spider sitting on a gathering of orange tulle adds a pop of color.

IMG_7071---2-low-resOn a side table, Tiffany create more Halloween interest by place a print from Less Cake More Frosting in a black filigree frame from Hobby Lobby. The frame is flanked by a white cake stand and candle holder from the Dollar Store and more creepy creatures. The large glittered spider crawling up the candlestick appears to have crawled right out of the spiderweb themed table runner.

IMG_7073---2-low-resTiffany’s  magical world isn’t limited to the inside.  At her front door is an oversized lantern with more Spanish Moss, human skulls and a black crow that appears to have picked the bone clean. It is a wonderful way to treat your guests to a glimpse of what awaits them inside!
