Nashville, TN – Michelle Moore joins Southern Guide to Life with her new column, Michelle Shares. As a successful businesswoman, she has earned over 40 sales, leadership, and literary awards. Today, she travels the country as an award-winning author, inspirational and motivational speaker, leadership coach, and sales trainer.
Her personal story of God’s amazing ability to transform pain into joy, abandonment into forgiveness, and defeat into victory has inspired men and women throughout the country.
“When I was fourteen, my mother changed her identity and left me. Then after being shuffled around from my grandparents’ home to an aunt and uncle in another city, I called my father to ask if I could come live with him. He said he had “a new family now” (referring to his three-month-old baby with my stepmother), and asked if I could just stay where I was. My own parents didn’t want me and my aunt and uncle thought of me as a burden,” Michelle Moore, BeYourTop.com
Her journey from an unwanted teenager filled with guilt and shame, to a confident and successful woman is chronicled in her book, ‘Abandonment to Forgiveness’, part of the ‘Freedom Series.’
“When my parents rejected me I thought, how awful must I be? Nobody wants me. Nobody’s ever going to want me,” Moore said. “But when I let it go, I mean really let it go, that’s when I found freedom.”
As the owner of Be Your Top, a current member of the Solomon’s Porch Society, and a speaker for God Crazy Freedom, Michelle speaks truth, love, and empowerment into the lives of men and women throughout the world.
In her latest book, ‘Selling Simplified’, Michelle seeks to go beyond traditional sales books to get to the heart of what holds people back, whether they’re in real estate, the owner of a small business, or the CEO of a Fortune 500 company.
Michelle lives in Lebanon, Tennessee, with her husband of twenty years, Jeff Moore, and their two sons, Dillon and Carson. She enjoys a life full of family and friends that seems so far away from the childhood she experienced. She shares her testimony regularly to give hope to the hopeless. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jer 29:11 NKJV).
