Atlanta screenwriter, Kenneth J. Lemm, and San Tan Valley, Arizona producer Nancy Criss of Nandar Entertainment Group are the pair behind the new half hour comedy “Fishes ‘n Loaves.” Lemm is the lead writer on the series, while Criss and Lemm share Creator and Producer titles for the project. Criss and Lemm share a passion for family-friendly, faith-based entertainment. Their soon-to-be- released feature film “A Horse for Summer” recently earned approval by the trusted Dove Foundation as “suitable for all ages,” with the script earning 5 Stars from the organization, and the film earning 4 Doves.
Like the great fish-out-of-water tales that have preceded it, “Fishes ‘n Loaves” tells the story of Pastor Randy Michaels, a young, inner-city minister sent to the rural community of Sagebrush, Arizona to take over for a beloved, retiring minister. Pastor Randy, his wife, and two teenage children face the twin challenges of being embraced by the set-in-their ways congregation, and adapting to a life very different than their urban home.
FISHES ‘N LOAVES tagline: Hold on to your hymnals, the new guy in town is Heaven sent.
FISHES ‘N LOAVES logline: When a minister from a tough inner city neighborhood is reassigned to a small, rural church, he and his young family must adjust to their new surroundings.
